Scientific and research background:

Dr Zakeri has published numerous scientific and research articles in prestigious domestic and international journals (ISI, ISC) and has presented more than 100 papers at international conferences and seminars.

His research fields and his published articles cover a range of topics, including concrete rail sleepers, ballast, dynamic analysis and lateral strength of the track, maintenance management systems, analysis of train derailment and ways to improve railway safety, the construction, implementation and maintenance of railway lines, the dynamics of railway bridges, and the dynamic interaction of track and wheel.

He is the author of various books in the field of railway maintenance and maintenance railway tracks, and has translated books on topics such as the dynamics of railway bridges, advanced rail lines, and railway safety standards.

He is a member of the Planning Council and Scientific Committee for both national and major international conferences on recent advances in railway engineering, rail transport, rail and road accidents, and civil engineering;

He has worked as a scientific reviewer for national and international journals in the field of transportation engineering, civil engineering and architecture, as well as being either an editor or on the editorial board of national and international quarterly journals, and university scientific and industrial magazines in the field of railway engineering, transportation engineering and civil engineering.

Dr Zakeri has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation as a top researcher in the field of rail transportation, and has presented the best paper at national and international rail transport conferences.
