The abstract submission deadline for both the Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2026 Conference and the TRA VISIONS Awards has been extended by two weeks. The new deadline is now 30 June 2025.
TRA2026, organised by the European Commission and supported by leading European technology platforms, will take place in Budapest from 18 to 21 May 2026. The central theme of the conference is “Regeneration in Transport”, and will cover five key topic areas:
- User-centred mobility
- Green mobility and decarbonisation
- Planning and operation
- Transport digitalisation
In parallel, the TRA VISIONS Awards will highlight excellence in transport research and innovation via four categories:
- Young Researcher Awards
- Senior Researcher Awards
- Special Honorary Award
- Host Award
Submitting an abstract is a mandatory step for applying to the TRA VISIONS Young Researcher Awards.
