The organisers of WCRR2011 are pleased to announce that the deadline for the submission of abstracts has been extended to Monday 31st May. This is to give every opportunity for the most advanced, up to date and relevant research to come forward.

The 9th World Congress on Railway Research WCRR 2011 – following the successful 2008 edition in Seoul- is to be held in Lille, France, on 22-26 May 2011.

This leading international event dedicated to innovation and research in all fields of railway activities is jointly organised by the Host Railway SNCF which chairs both Organizing (WCRR ORG) and Executive (WCRR EXE) Committees, AAR-TTCI (USA), DB (Germany), RSSB (UK), RTRI-JR (Japan), FS-Trenitalia (Italy) and UIC.
