The UIC website has recently been modified to incorporate the association’s new visual identity and to offer improved navigation and interactivity.

The site, which already provided a large amount of information on UIC activities, now includes a regularly updated press room for the media, improved visibility of UIC e-News articles, as well as more visible and expanded “events” and “products” sections.

The website also features new functions, with the option of navigating throughout the site using key words, a focus on products and related information, and sharing buttons (social networks, RSS flows).

Some key figures:

  • 60 000 hits per month,
  • 2500 hits per day from 155 countries,
  • over 2000 documents,
  • over 1000 articles.

Other sites developed by UIC have also had some success, in particular the sites dedicated to current railway issues and projects coordinated by UIC in areas such as the environment, freight, safety, etc.

In order to meet these information needs, UIC is constantly developing its information sites (sites under development include those dedicated to research, the environment and sustainable development).
