Last call for “Safety Management and Human Factors” Seminar in Tunis

As announced recently, the UIC Regional Assembly for Africa is currently organising a seminar on Safety Management and Human Factors.

The seminar will be held from 5 – 6 June 2012 in Tunis, Tunisia, at the kind invitation of Tunisian Railways (SNCFT).

The participants in this seminar will consist of ONCF (Morocco), SNTF (Algeria), SNCFT (Tunisia), SETRAG (Gabon), Infrabel (Belgium), SNCF (France) and other stakeholders such as SOPAFER-B (Burkina Faso), Libya Railways (Libya), etc.

The seminar will take the shape of two sessions. The first will focus on railway safety management with exchanges of experience between the participating railways. A round table will be held at the end of this session to define the future areas of work in safety matters referring to UIC-Africa vision 2025. The second session will address Human Factors with specific emphasis on stress management.
