In June 2014, Regiojet became a member of MERITS-PRIFIS. On 8 August 2014, UIC, represented by Marc Guigon, Senior Advisor for Passenger Transport, Fabrice Setta, Senior Advisor in the Data Unit, Joachim Baars, UIC Timetable Expert, met the RegioJet team in order to start applying MERITS and PRIFIS to railway undertakings.
Regiojet was represented by Ing. Tomas Petras, Strategy Director, Petr Slkut, IT Expert, and Miroslav Haltuf, Consultant.

Merits is the UIC central timetable database with all train data and all station data within wider Europe, including Russia and Turkey. Prifis is also a UIC central database which contains all tariffs and fares for Non Integrated Reservation Tickets (NRT) and Integrated Reservation Tickets (IRT). All these databases are shared between all the members of the Merits-Prifis community in order to fill their own journey planners with the aim of giving timetable/fare information and/or selling tickets in another country.

Regiojet was created in 2009 by Keolis and Student Agency Holding.
Regiojet operates trains between Prague and Havířov. Some trains go to Třinec and Žilina in Slovakia.
In 2013, Regiojet was awarded a contract to operate trains between Ostrava and Olomouc (144 km) for a duration of 15 years.
In Slovakia, after winning the contract to operate regional trains on the Komárno - Dunajská Streda - Bratislava route, Regiojet will develop its services on the Bratislava - Žilina - Košice line from the end of 2014.

Regiojet aims to develop its sale of railway tickets for other railway undertakings, and its products are to be sold by the latter as well.
