UIC meeting on challenges facing North American railways

On 18 November, at the initiative of UIC Chairman Krzysztof Mamiński, a meeting was held with the primary goal of discussing the situation with regard to the railway industry in North America. Barbara Klein Barr, Head of the UIC North America Region and François Davenne, UIC Director General, participated in the meeting. The UIC Chairman emphasised the importance of implementing coherent measures worldwide in terms of railway promotion, technological solutions and accessibility.
